Job description

Reporting to Quality Manager the candidate will be responsible for the following:
Perform Supplier Qualification Audits:
Quality Management System
Material Controls
Manufacturing Process Controls
Equipment CalibrationContinuous Improvement Programs
Health and Safety
Ensure and confirm all Supplier certification standards such as ISO9000 are valid and issued from an approved registrar.
Co-Ordinate with Engineering Team on testing and inspection requirements for products.
Obtain, review and approve supplier Quality Plans and FMEA analysis.
Monitor, review and approve first productions runs on new products with current and new suppliers.
Coordinate random pre-shipment inspection on supplier finished product.
Follow up on all defective and rejected materials, completing a root cause analysis and ensure the supplier has implemented, executed and completed corrective actions.
Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
Monitor and submit monthly reports on supplier quality performance.
Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical, or mechanical.
Devise sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
Assist in reviewing current purchasing policy and procedures to update and recommend revisions where necessary to ensure that they are performed legally, efficiently, professionally and with the highest ethical stand

Requirements Include:
Solid experience in Quality Control and Assurance
Minimum 7 Year experience
BS or BA Degree, Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, Gage R&R, CPk study, SCAR, and Quality Control Plans necessary.
Six Sigma training would be an advantage.
Ability to function in a team environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be an energetic self starter, focused on completing tasks without close supervision
Excellent computer knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite
Fluency in English and Mandarin (Cantonese would be an advantage)
Experience working for Western managed company an advantage. Based Full-Time in Shenzhen China, Lo Hu District.
Frequent travel within Asia required.

Perform Supplier quality checks (in-process or outgoing)
Ensure Supplier process quality meets the specifications and requirements stipulated in the work instructions or
procedures
Perform start-up and verification of part performance to specification of all products
Perform sample inspection on components, products and materials as per specification
Record inspection results in inspection report and maintain proper documentation
Perform out-going inspection on shipments.
Operate and maintain all dimensional inspection equipment.
